    البيع بثمن آجل
هو أن يقوم المصرف ببيع سلع يكون قد سبق له أن تملكها بثمن يتفق عليه مع المتعامل، ويكون السداد مؤجلا على أقساط محددة.
المرابحة
هي أن يقوم المصرف بشراء سلعة ما يحددها المتعامل من مالكها، بناء على وعد ملزم من المتعامل، فيدفع البنك ثمنها ويتملكها، ثم يبيعها إلى المتعامل بعد ذلك بثمن آجل حسب شروط عقد المرابحةً، أي بثمن جديد مكون من عنصرين: كلفة الشراء وزيادة معلومة على كلفة الشراء يتفق عليها بين المصرف والمتعامل، يُدفع على أقساط محددة.
السلم
هو أن يقوم المصرف بشراء سلع آجلة موصوفة في الذمة يدفع ثمنها فورا، بينما يقوم المتعامل بتسليمها في أجل محدد.
الاستصناع
هو أن يبيع طرف ما سلعا ذات مواصفات محددة، يلتزم بتصنيعها، ولا تكون موجودة حين العقد، بثمن قد يكون حالاً أو مؤجلاً أو مقسطاً. ويسمى بائعها الصانع، ومشتريها المستصنع. ويجوز للبنك الإسلامي أن يقوم بدور الصاانع، ولا يلزم أن يقوم الصانع بتصنيعها بنفسه، ولكنه يوكل ذلك إلى صانع آخر من خلال عقد استصناع مواز. 
الإجارة التشغيلية
الإجارة التشغيلية هي بيع منفعة عين أو موصوفة في الذمة أو خدمة محددة أو موصوفة في الذمة إلى أجل محدد أو متجدد، بثمن يسمى "أجرة" متفق عليه بين الأطراف: البائع ويسمى "المؤجر"، والمشتري، ويسمى "المستأجر". ويمكن أن يقوم البنك بدور المؤجر والمتعامل بدور المستأجر، أو العكس.
الإجارة المنتهية بالتمليك (الإجارة التمويلية)
هي معاملة تمويلية مؤلفة من عقد إجارة للجزء من الأصل المملوك للمؤجر، مع وعد بالشراء لكامل الأصل على أجزاء صغيرة، عن طريق سلسلة عقود بيع بالتعاطي تتم في المستقبل تنفيذا للوعد. (ويجوز أن يبقى كامل الأصل على إسم المؤجر على سبيل الرهن بالنسبة للجزء المملوك للمستأجر).
